AAVM

(Advanced Around View Monitoring)

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment is the first company to market the AAVM system in Korea. The AAVM system allows the operator to directly view the surrounding environment through four cameras mounted on the equipment. To prevent accidents, a warning signal is displayed on the screen when a moving object is detected within a certain radius around the device. To further improve operator safety, we develop artificial intelligence systems that incorporate sensor (e.g., radar) and camera technology to selectively recognize objects such as pedestrians and dump trucks, and automatically slow and stop the excavator based on level when turning and driving.

RDS

(Rear Detection System) or rear detection system

RDS uses wide-angle radar mounted on the back of wheel loaders and wheeled excavators to detect objects and alert operators and pedestrians. Radar sensors are highly resistant to external environmental factors, making it possible to detect objects even in low visibility conditions due to snow, rain, fog, dust, and nighttime operation. It also indicates the distance of the detected object on the secondary monitor and alerts the operator with an audible signal.

SAVM

(Smart Around View Monitoring)

SAVM, the signature safety technology of HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, allows the operator to see the surrounding area without any blind spots through multi-directional cameras installed on the machine, and warns the operator with an audible alarm via the monitor if a person is detected nearby. AI technology is used to detect the presence of people while the machine is driving and turning, even when there is no dynamic movement. When connected to radar, radar detection alerts are provided to ensure the safety of workers. HD Hyundai Construction Equipment plans to introduce SAVM technology to all products and develop additional functions such as stopping the equipment based on sensor technology.
